Swimming’s been quite a part of my life ever since I watched that tight 100m butterfly race between Phelps and Cavic. I got really excited about swimming, especially the butterfly stroke. Naturally, one of the first things I did after settling down in Beijing was to look out for the pools. The pools in Beijing come in 2 flavors, those in the universities and those not in the universities. Most of them are fine, although those not in the universities tend to be a little more crowded.
